2025/26 Willingness to Serve on PTSA Board

We’re looking for volunteers to help in roles that work around your schedule

Got 10 minutes or 10 hours? We’ll take it! Coleman PTSA is looking for members to join the 2025/26 Board. There are roles for every busy schedule—pick what works for you.

• Advocacy - keeps the Board informed about PTA issues in the Legislature
• Assistant Treasurer - assists the Treasurer
• Athletics Liaison - works with administration to publicize Coleman Athletic Events
• Awards - Submit awards in the spring for the regional and state PTSA ceremonies 
• Birthday Marquee - coordinate the marquee and communicate for the Chronicle
• Book Club - Assist with grade level student book clubs
• Business Sponsorships Committee - solicits local businesses for donations
• Campus Beautification - coordinate campus beautification efforts
• Community Outreach - assist Adams Middle School with items they need throughout the year
• Conference Night Meals - coordinates staff meals 4x per year.
• Copy Center - coordinates volunteers for the Copy Center and orders supplies as needed
• Dads Club - represents Dads Club at PTSA meetings
• 8th Grade Celebration Committee - plans activities throughout the year, some fundraising
• ESE Liaison - coordinates with ESE specialist to support their needs
• Family Sponsor Chair - help with the family sponsorships for fundraising.
• Faculty Honor Roll - coordinates printing and distribution of Faculty awards (fundraiser)
• Graphic Design - help with printed materials and flyers for events throughout the year
• Hospitality - sets up approximately 3 meetings/events per year - Camp Cobra, 6th Grade Open House
• and Welcome Back Staff Luncheon
• PTSA Student Board - leads Student Board meetings (1/month)
• Reflections - coordinates the PTA sponsored Reflections contest
• PBIS Store/Coleman Den - assist with admin team to buy incentives and run the store on Fridays
• Safety  - advocates for student safety
• Scholarship - Coordinate and select Coleman alumni senior recipient - cannot have a current senior
• Social Media - manages the PTSA's online presence via FaceBook and Instagram
• Spirit Night Chair - help coordinate with local businesses for spirit nights and submit to VP Communications
• Staff Appreciation - plans and coordinates events throughout the year
• Student Clubs Chair - works with administration to publicize Coleman Clubs
• Student Honor Roll - facilitates Principal's Honor Roll celebrations 3/year as well as printing certificates
• Student Services Liaison - works with student services team to coordinate needs
• Website - manage content on our website.  It's easy, we swear!
